Our North West Business Development Team is Growing
General News
Our team has grown with the appointment of Ronnie Harris as business development manager.
The appointment of Ronnie is set to further enhance our support for SMEs across the north, helping more businesses to grow and succeed.
Ronnie will be responsible for building strong relationships with brokers and clients in the region, guiding them throughout the application process to deliver tailored lending solutions.
We’re hoping to see our footprint across the North of England strengthened by Ronnie’s extensive network, thanks to his seven years’ experience in commercial finance.
Commenting on his new role, Ronnie said: “The Reparo team and I clicked straight away as we share the belief that every business is unique, and providing a personalised service is the best way to work. Reparo offers a great product and I’m excited to bring this to my broker network.”
Originally from the West Country, Ronnie started his career in London, working in estate agency and at an online trading provider for CFDs, financial spread betting and stockbroking.
After a decade in the capital, Ronnie and his family relocated to the North West where he worked across business development roles within foreign exchange and debt recovery before moving into commercial finance in 2017.
He then took on a role at a Finnish lender, helping launch and establish a UK lending business, and has most recently worked for a privately backed lender servicing SMEs.
Our commercial director, Steve Richardson said: “Ronnie’s broad range of experience across different markets is invaluable, with his background supporting SMEs being a significant asset.
“He has an impressive broker network, real respect for SME leaders and a drive to do good – all the markers of a Reparo team member. And we’re thrilled to have him on board.”
Ronnie, who is a keen Blackburn Rovers supporter and has visited both base camps at Mount Everest, adds: “With Reparo’s growth plans in mind, it’s an exciting time to be joining the business.”
Ronnie will join the team at our Manchester city centre office, as well as working remotely, and visiting clients and brokers across the UK as often as possible.
